TERRELL, Texas — No injuries were reported following a one-vehicle rollover crash on U.S. Highway 80 on Thursday.
The crash was reported at noon on westbound U.S. Highway 80 just west of Spur 557 and east of Windmill Farms Boulevard which is located in Kaufman County between Forney and Terrell.
A vehicle traveling westbound veered off the highway, down an approximate 25-foot embankment onto the service road below, and overturned — coming to a rest on the vehicle’s roof.
The driver of the vehicle was evaluated by CareFlite EMS on scene and ultimately was not transported to the hospital.
The north service road was closed while emergency personnel were on scene and a wrecker uprighted the vehicle and towed it from the scene.
The Kaufman County Precinct 2 Constable’s Office, Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, Terrell Volunteer Fire Department, Forney Police Department, Forney Fire Department, and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the crash.
