KAUFMAN, Texas — O. P. Norman Junior High School was evacuated Tuesday for the second time this school year for a reported bomb threat.

KAUFMAN, Texas — O. P. Norman Junior High School was evacuated Tuesday for the second time this school year for a reported bomb threat.

A bomb threat was called into the school on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, according to a district notification sent at 11:24 a.m. The students were moved to the football stadium while police searched the campus.

At 12:14 p.m., the district notified the “all clear” was given and the students returned to campus.

In October 2014, a bomb threat was discovered in the restroom at the school. After an evacuation and search, the school was cleared and students returned to the campus.

The Kaufman Independent School District Police Department is investigating.
