FORNEY, Texas — One person was airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital after crashing into the back of an 18-wheeler on Farm-to-Market (FM) 1641 early Tuesday morning.
The crash was reported just after 5:20 a.m. on Farm-to-Market (FM) 1641 near Nicole Lane and saw a response from the Forney Police Department, Forney Fire Department, and CareFlite ground and air crews.
A man was driving a four-door passenger vehicle when it slammed into the back of an 18-wheeler trailer which was reportedly traveling at a low rate of speed.
A request for additional information has been made.
The man was transported to Lake Pointe Medical Center in Forney, Texas, where he was flown to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, in stable condition with what were described as non-life threatening injuries.
