KAUFMAN, Texas — One person was airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital on Sunday afternoon following a single-vehicle motorcycle crash.
The crash was reported at approximately 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Farm-to-Market (FM) 987 and FM 2578 with the Kaufman Fire Department, CareFlite, the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, and the Texas Department of Public Safety responding.
Texas Department of Public Safety spokesperson Trooper Kyle Bradford says the motorcyclists lost control after apparently hitting a bump in the road and laid the bike on its side.
The motorcyclist was flown to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, with non-life threatening injuries, according to Bradford.
The man, in his sixties, was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
