TERRELL, Texas — One person was airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital following a four-wheeler accident on Saturday evening.
The accident was reported at approximately 5 p.m. at the Four Seasons Ranch and RV Park on U.S. Highway 80 in between Forney and Terrell, just east of the Spur 557.
U.S. Highway 80 was closed to allow a CareFlite medical helicopter to land and transport an adult male to Medical Center in Plano, Texas, who had suffered injuries in a four-wheeler accident at the RV Park. The highway was reopened at 5:29 p.m.
The Terrell Volunteer Fire Department, Kaufman County Office of Emergency Management, and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the accident.
