POST OAK BEND, Texas — One person was critically injured in a crash on Farm-to-Market (FM) 987 near Post Oak Bend earlier today.
A man, possibly from Rosser, Texas, driving a white Ford Explorer was traveling northbound on FM 987 when he attempted to make a u-turn, Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Kyle Bradford told inForney.com.
“The Explorer turned in front of another vehicle and was struck on the driver side,” stated Bradford.
The man was transported by a CareFlite helicopter to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, in critical condition, according to Bradford.
The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. on FM 987 near Country Oaks Drive. The CareFlite helicopter landed on the cul-de-sac at the end of Country Oaks Drive.
Two individuals in the other vehicle, a GMC Sierra 3500 dually, were uninjured.
