FORNEY, Texas — One person was injured after a single-vehicle motorcycle accident on Friday afternoon.
The accident happened at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Farm-to-Market (FM) 1641 near the Interstate-20 overpass. The driver of the motorcycle did not strike any other vehicles or objects and laid the bike on its side, according to police.
The man was taken by a CareFlite ambulance to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. The motorcycle was driven from the scene by a family member to their nearby home.
The roadway was temporarily closed to one alternating lane of traffic.
The Forney Fire Department and the Talty Police Department also responded to the accident.
