One injured in rollover crash involving 18-wheeler on Interstate 20

TERRELL, Texas — One person was injured after striking the back of an 18-wheeler on Interstate 20 and overturning their vehicle several times on Thursday night.

TERRELL, Texas — One person was injured after striking the back of an 18-wheeler on Interstate 20 and overturning their vehicle several times on Thursday night.

The crash was reported at approximately 11:45 p.m., on Thursday, on westbound Interstate 20 in between Wilson Road and State Highway 34. Police say vehicle struck the back of an 18-wheeler before overturning several times on the highway.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, with a hand injury.

The highway was reopened just before 1 a.m. Friday. The Texas Department of Transportation was requested to inspect the highway surface for gouges left from the vehicle overturning.
