ROSSER, Texas — One person was killed, and another injured, in a head-on collision Friday morning on State Highway (SH) 34 at the Trinity River bridge.
The crash was reported around 6:57 a.m. on SH 34 at the Trinity River Bridge just south of Rosser, Texas.
A Mercury Grand Marquis was traveling south and, for yet to be determined reasons, crossed into northbound traffic and struck a Ford F-150 head-on, Texas Department of Public Safety Staff Sergeant Kyle Bradford told inForney.com.
The driver of the Mercury was pronounced deceased and has not been identified pending next of kin notification.
The driver of the Ford was transported to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Kaufman, Texas, with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
