One person airlifted from FM 148 crash

SCURRY, Texas — One person was airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital after a crash which forced the closure of Farm-to-Market (FM) 148 near FM 2451.

SCURRY, Texas — One person was airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital after a crash which forced the closure of Farm-to-Market (FM) 148 near FM 2451.

The crash was reported around 8 a.m. in the Grays Prairie area just south of Scurry, Texas. Firefighters reportedly extricated one person from one of the vehicles.

FM 148 was closed at approximately 8:30 a.m. to land a CareFlite medical helicopter on the road to transport one person to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. The road was reopened at 9:06 a.m.
