KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — One person was taken to an area hospital following a rollover accident on Valley View at approximately 5 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — One person was taken to an area hospital following a rollover accident on Valley View at approximately 5 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
A driver in a small passenger car was traveling south on Valley View and lost control of her vehicle around a bend in the road — approximately .8 miles from Ranch Road just north of the Forney city limits. The vehicle spun backwards, struck a fence, and overturned onto its side.
An East Texas Medical Center ambulance transported the driver of the vehicle, the only occupant, to Lake Pointe Medical Center in Forney, Texas.
A Kaufman County Sheriff’s deputy, a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper, the Kaufman County Precinct 2 Constable, and the Forney Fire Department responded to the accident.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
