KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — Kaufman County Precinct 4 Commissioner Jakie Allen has begun providing weekly road repair updates and upcoming timelines on the county’s website.
In a demonstration of the web updates at a June 15 Commissioner’s Court meeting, Allen said his office will provide updates, photos, and upcoming timelines to better provide the information to individuals living in his precinct.
“We’re gonna try to update that every Monday,” he said.
The latest update indicates, weather permitting, during the week of July 6 crews will be grinding and stabilizing Falcon Road.
The webpage also highlights work which has been completed with before and after pictures including re-grading projects on County Roads 4018 and 4019 and ditch reconstruction along Falcon Road.
The page also includes a patching schedule for upcoming patch projects. In his updates, Allen expects to bring a fourth patch crew online this week with the arrival of a new patch truck.
