KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — A winter storm rolled into Kaufman County late Sunday night and was a leading factor in a large number of accidents Sunday and Monday.
The National Weather Service in Fort Worth, Texas, issued a Winter Storm Watch for Kaufman County beginning Tuesday night into Monday. The watch is forecasting between two and four inches of snow with locally higher amounts possible.
The watch is in effect from Tuesday at midnight through noon on Monday. Drivers are urged to use caution on area roadways.
