FORNEY, Texas — More than 3,000 people are without power in Forney, Kaufman, and Terrell, according to Oncor’s outage website.
The outages in Forney were first reported at 5:48 p.m., and later restored at 6:56 p.m., Oncor Area Manager Terri Shatter told inForney.com.
The Forney outage affected 3,108 Oncor customers, according to the website. The outage was caused by a "feeder lockout due to the storms," stated Shatter.
46 Oncor customers in Kaufman, Texas, are also without power as well as less than five in Terrell, Texas. The outage in Terrell is due to equipment failure.
