KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The project to reconstruct and add shoulders to a portion of Farm-to-Market (FM) 429 has begun in Kaufman County, the Texas Department of Transportation announced.

KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The project to reconstruct and add shoulders to a portion of Farm-to-Market (FM) 429 has begun in Kaufman County, the Texas Department of Transportation announced.

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will begin reconstruction of existing pavement and add shoulders to FM 429 from Interstate 20 (I-20) to U.S. Highway 80.

Knife River Corp. was awarded the $6.2 million project, which is scheduled to be complete in fall 2021.
