FORNEY, Texas — Railroad crossing arm malfunctions are causing delays Wednesday morning in Forney.
The malfunctions were reported Wednesday morning at approximately 10 a.m. and impacted all the downtown crossings and the crossing at Farm-to-Market (FM) 548.
Just before 10:30 a.m., Union Pacific crews reopened the FM 548 crossing.
The Elm Street and South Chestnut Street crossings remain closed as of 10:35 a.m. due to the crossing arm malfunction.
The Bois D’Arc and Center Street crossings are closed due to ongoing quiet zone construction.
