KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas – A bumper-pull RV caught on fire on westbound I-20 early Thursday morning, September 11, 2014.

KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas – A bumper-pull RV caught on fire on westbound I-20 early Thursday morning, September 11, 2014.

At approximately 5:45 a.m., the Forney Fire Department was dispatched to the fire on westbound I-20 approximately one mile east of Farm-to-Market (FM) 1641. The right lane of I-20 was closed while crews were on scene extinguishing the fire and removing debris from the highway.

No injuries were reported in the fire. The truck pulling the RV unhitched and did not sustain any major fire damage however, minor damage was reported.

There were minor traffic delays on westbound I-20 at approximately 6:23 a.m. Fire crews were expected to clear the scene within 30 minutes.
