SEAGOVILLE, Texas — No injuries were reported after a Hummer caught on fire on U.S. Highway 175 in Seagoville on Sunday night.
Just before 9 p.m., the Seagoville Fire Department was dispatched to westbound U.S. Highway 175 before the East Malloy Bridge Road exit near the Dallas-Kaufman County line. Firefighters say the driver of the vehicle was able to safely exit the vehicle after it caught fire on the highway and veered into the ditch.
The right lane of westbound U.S. Highway 175 was briefly closed while emergency personnel were on scene.
A wrecker towed the Hummer from the scene.
