FORNEY, Texas — An accident Saturday morning on Farm-to-Market (FM) 1641 occurred in the same area as a Friday night accident which resulted in the brief closure of the road.
Saturday’s accident occurred in the 13000 block of FM 1641 and involved two vehicles. The road was reopened at 11:10 a.m..
A wrecker hauled two vehicles from the scene — one with heavy front-end damage and the other with heavy rear-end damage. One person was taken by ambulance to Texas REgional Medical Center in Sunnyvale, Texas. The Forney Police Department, Forney Fire Department, and an East Texas Medical Center ambulance responded to the accident.
