KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas, issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Kaufman County until 11 p.m.
“Large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain leading to flash flooding are the main hazards tonight,” stated the NWS. “Cloud to ground lightning is also a hazard with all storms, even if they are below severe limits. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.”
A line of severe storms are expected to reach Kaufman County around 10 p.m.
