KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas, issued a Significant Weather Advisory for southeastern Kaufman County at 4:05 p.m. until 5 p.m.

KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas, issued a Significant Weather Advisory for southeastern Kaufman County at 4:05 p.m. until 5 p.m.

At 4:05 p.m., according to the NWS, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Seven Points, seven miles west of Gun Barrel City, moving south at 25 miles per hour.

Wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour may be possible with this storm, according to the NWS who says the storm may intensify.

Locations impacted include Mabank, Gun Barrel City, Malakoff, Tool, Kerens, Seven Points, Kemp, Eustace, Trinidad, Enchanted Oaks, Caney City, Purtis Creek State Park, Payne Springs, Log Cabin, Star Harbor, Mildred, Goodlow, and Powell.
