FORNEY, Texas — A Forney High School student was taken by a CareFlite medical helicopter after an accident in the Forney High School parking lot.
Around 3:30 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2015, the Forney Fire Department received a call about a student who fell from a slow-moving vehicle and sustained a head laceration. The Forney Police Department, Kaufman County Sheriff's Office, and the Texas Department of Public Safety also responded to the accident.
The student was transferred by an East Texas Medical Center ambulance to the Lake Pointe Medical Center in Forney where a CareFlite medical helicopter transported the student to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
