FORNEY, Texas — A teenager was airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital from a rollover crash on Farm-to-Market (FM) 1641 on Sunday afternoon.
FORNEY, Texas — A teenager was airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital from a rollover crash on Farm-to-Market (FM) 1641 on Sunday afternoon.
The crash was reported at approximately 5 p.m. on FM 1641 at Shamrock Boulevard — between Forney and Talty. A vehicle overturned and trapped the teenager inside.
Firefighters with the Forney Fire Department extricated the teenager who was later flown by CareFlite medical helicopter to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, with what were described as non-life threatening injuries.
FM 1641 was temporarily closed to land the helicopter on the roadway.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
