TERRELL, Texas โ The Terrell Police Department is investigating a Saturday morning vehicle vs. pedestrian crash which sent one man to the hospital via a CareFlite medical helicopter โ the second in as many weeks.
The crash was reported at approximately 10:40 a.m. on July 11, 2015, on West Moore Avenue at the intersection of Ann Street.
The driver of the vehicle, a 43-year-old Terrell man, was traveling west after exiting a private drive, according to Terrell Police Department Captain A.D. Sansom.
The pedestrian, a 71-year-old Terrell man, was flown by a CareFlite medical helicopter to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. As of Saturday afternoon, the man was reportedly in stable condition.
The Terrell Police Department continues to investigate the crash, according to Sansom.
On the morning of July 1, 2015, the Terrell Police Department investigated a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash on South Rockwall Street. Police say alcohol may have played a factor on both sides of that crash. The driver was arrested and charged with intoxication assault.
