TERRELL, Texas — The Terrell Volunteer Fire Department extinguished a vehicle fire on Thursday afternoon in northwest Kaufman County.

TERRELL, Texas — The Terrell Volunteer Fire Department extinguished a vehicle fire on Thursday afternoon in northwest Kaufman County.

The vehicle fire was reported just before noon on Thursday in the 8000 block of Colquitt Road, also known as County Road 233, about a mile east of Farm-to-Market (FM) 548.

Firefighters with the Terrell Volunteer Fire Department extinguished the fire and nearby grass which had also caught fire. No injuries were reported for the vehicle’s occupants.

The Kaufman County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
