FORNEY, Texas — Three people were rescued from a vehicle stalled out in high waters near the Kaufman-Rockwall County line on Sunday afternoon.
At approximately 2 p.m., the Rockwall County Sheriff’s Office responded to South Kings Road, also known as Adams Trail in Kaufman County, for a silver Jaguar which had stalled out in high water with three individuals inside the vehicle.
Rockwall County Sheriff’s Office dispatched a Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle on the Rockwall County side and the Forney Fire Department, along with their swift-water rescue unit, and the McLendon-Chisholm Volunteer Fire Department responded on the Kaufman County side.
All three individuals were rescued from the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
