CRANDALL, Texas – Three teenagers were injured after an SUV they were traveling in overturned on Farm-to-Market (FM) 148 in Crandall, Texas.
Four teenagers were traveling in the 2003 Hyundai SUV on FM 148 when it overturned near Creekview Lane. Three of the teenagers were transported by an East Texas Medical Center ambulance to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Kaufman, Texas, with non-life threatening injuries. The fourth teenager was uninjured.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident. FM 148 was closed in both directions for several hours while police conducted an accident investigation and a wrecker removed the vehicle. The road has since been reopened.
The Crandall Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the accident scene.
Contributing factors and the ages of the victims are unknown at the time of reporting.
