FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Fire Department and Forney Police Department responded to a three-vehicle accident on Tuesday night on Farm-to-Market (FM) 548 near Ridgecrest Road.
FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Fire Department and Forney Police Department responded to a three-vehicle accident on Tuesday night on Farm-to-Market (FM) 548 near Ridgecrest Road.
The accident was reported around 6:30 p.m. on northbound FM 548 just south of Ridgecrest. Three vehicles appeared to be in a chain-reaction accident near the south entrance to the Aldi grocery store.
Travel lanes northbound and southbound remain open. The Forney Fire Department, Forney Police Department, a Kaufman County Sheriff’s deputy, and an East Texas Medical Center ambulance are currently on scene.
No injuries were reported. Two vehicles were able to drive from the scene and the third was towed. The accident was cleared at approximately 7:05 p.m.
