FORNEY, Texas -- The Forney Fire Department, Forney Police Department, and an East Texas Medical Center ambulance responded to a three-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 80 near the Farm-to-Market (FM) 548 onramp to the highway earlier today.
FORNEY, Texas -- The Forney Fire Department, Forney Police Department, and an East Texas Medical Center ambulance responded to a three-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 80 near the Farm-to-Market (FM) 548 onramp to the highway earlier today.
The accident occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2014. No injuries were reported in the accident but one vehicle, a white sedan, required a wrecker to remove it from a ditch in between the highway and the north service road. An SUV and truck were also involved in the accident.
The FM 548 onramp to westbound U.S. Highway 80 was closed while emergency personnel are on scene. All fire units and police cleared the scene by 6 p.m. and re-opened the ramp.
