TERRELL, Texas — Three wrecks in a 1-mile stretch of Interstate 20 in Terrell are causing delays for eastbound and westbound drivers.
At approximately 5:30 pm., the Terrell Fire Department and police department responded to a rollover crash on eastbound Interstate 20 just east of State Highway 34. The vehicle overturned into the shoulder and came to a rest on its roof. Although police have not yet confirmed, there did not appear to be any injuries in this wreck.
The second wreck was reported several minutes after the first wreck on eastbound Interstate 20 just west of State Highway 34 and appeared to be chain-reaction crash involving multiple vehicles in the backup of the initial wreck. The Terrell Fire Department, Terrell Police Department, and CareFlite also responded to this wreck. Its unknown if there are any injuries.
A third wreck was reported at 6:32 p.m. on westbound Interstate 20 just east of State Highway 34. No injuries were reported in this wreck.
The first wreck was cleared at 6:22 p.m. As of 6:24 p.m., police were awaiting wreckers for the second wreck.
