FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Fire Department, in partnership with the Forney Independent School District Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps, are conducting their annual “Toys for Forney Kids” toy drive to benefit local children.
FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Fire Department, in partnership with the Forney Independent School District Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps, are conducting their annual “Toys for Forney Kids” toy drive to benefit local children.
Currently, drop-off locations are available at the Forney Sub Courthouse at 200 East Main Street, American National Bank at 401 Pinson Road, City Hall at 101 East Main Street, and the Forney Fire Department at 104 East Aimee Street.
On November 30, 2015, each school campus in the Forney ISD will begin collecting toys and, on December 5, 2015, donations can be made at the annual Christmas on Main event in downtown Forney from noon until 6:30 p.m.
All toy donations should be in their original packaging without gift wrapping.
The toy drive will culminate in a flag football game between the Forney Fire Department and the Forney Public Works Department on December 12, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Jackrabbit Stadium, located at 811 South Bois D’ Arc Street. Admission to the game is one unwrapped toy per person.
