FORNEY, Texas — Two two-vehicle accidents were slowing traffic on westbound U.S. Highway 80 mid-morning on Friday.
Both accidents were reported at approximately 8:45 a.m. on westbound U.S. Highway 80 near the East Fork Trinity River and the Dallas-Kaufman County line.
The first accident was minor with no injuries reported and was moved to the shoulder. Firefighters and EMS are currently working the second accident which was reported in the left lane.
All lanes were cleared at approximately 9:30 a.m. One person was transported to an area hospital from the second accident.
The Forney Fire Department, Forney Police Department, Kaufman County Sheriff's Department, a CareFlite ambulance, and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded.
