Two crashes, one rollover caused major delays on eastbound U.S. Highway 175

CRANDALL, Texas — Two separate crashes, including a rollover crash, on eastbound U.S. Highway 175 are causing major rush-hour traffic delays through Crandall.

CRANDALL, Texas — Two separate crashes, including a rollover crash, on eastbound U.S. Highway 175 are causing major rush-hour traffic delays through Crandall.

The first crash was reported just after 5 p.m. and involved an SUV which struck a guardrail on the right shoulder of the highway just past the Farm-to-Market (FM) 148 overpass — resulting in the vehicle overturning and the closure of the right lane of the highway.

The second crash was reported on eastbound U.S. Highway 175 in the backup of the original crash near the FM 148 exit ramp. No injuries were reported in this crash.

The female driver of the overturned vehicle was treated and released on scene by EMS.

The rollover crash was cleared at 6:04 p.m.

The Crandall Police Department, Crandall Fire Department, and CareFlite responded to the crashes.
