TERRELL, Texas — Two people were displaced after their RV was destroyed in a fire on Monday morning, December 29, 2014.
The fire began at approximately 8:30 a.m. inside an RV located on County Road 301 just south of Terrell, Texas. The Terrell Volunteer Fire Department, Elmo Volunteer Fire Department, and the Kaufman Fire Department responded to the fire.
The RV, which was being used as a primary residence, was completely destroyed by the fire and a mobile home, used for storage purposes, near the RV sustained minor damage. No injuries were reported in the fire.
The fire originated at or near an electrical heater, Kaufman County Fire Marshal Randy Richards told inForney.com.
The Red Cross is providing assistance to the two individuals displaced by the fire.
