TERRELL, Texas — The Terrell Police Department is investigating a head-on collision which injured two people on Thursday.
The crash occurred at approximately noon on Airport Road just south of Airline Drive. Firefighters extricated one person who was taken to the Terrell Municipal Airport where a CareFlite medical helicopter later transported the person to Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Another person was taken by CareFlite ambulance to an area hospital.
The Terrell Fire Department and Terrell Police Department also responded to the crash.
Airport Road was closed while an accident investigator and emergency personnel were on scene.
