Two injured in motorcycle crash, one airlifted

KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — Two people were injured in a motorcycle crash on Friday night in Post Oak Bend.

KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — Two people were injured in a motorcycle crash on Friday night in Post Oak Bend.

The Kaufman Fire Department, CareFlite, the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the crash just before 10:30 p.m. on Kandy Lane in Post Oak Bend.

One person was transported by CareFlite ground ambulance and another was flown by CareFlite medical helicopter to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas, in unknown conditions. The helicopter landed in an empty lot between two homes to airlift the person.

An additional information request has been made with the Texas Department of Public Safety.

This crash makes the second motorcycle crash in the Kaufman Fire Department’s district today.
