FORNEY, Texas — Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle rollover accident on eastbound U.S. Highway 80 on Sunday afternoon, March 29, 2015.
The accident occurred at approximately 5:25 p.m. on eastbound U.S. Highway 80 just east of Windmill Farms Boulevard and involved two vehicles — a truck towing a four-door car.
The truck was pulling the car when the car begin to swerve, according to a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper. The driver of the car attempted to call the driver of the truck but both vehicles swerved off the road and overturned on the south side of the highway.
Both drivers were taken by separate CareFlite ambulances to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
The Forney Fire Department and Terrell Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) also responded to the accident. The Terrell VFD was disregarded upon arrival.
