FORNEY, Texas — Two people were injured on Monday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash on Farm-to-Market (FM) 548 in Forney.
The crash was reported at approximately 5:30 p.m. on FM 548 at Jack’s Quik Stop convenience store. A vehicle pulling out of the convenience store struck the right front of a truck traveling southbound on FM 548 — causing both vehicles to veer across oncoming traffic and into the northbound shoulder.
One person was transported to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, and another was transported to Lake Pointe Medical Center in Forney, Texas, with what were described as non-life threatening injuries.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
The Forney Fire Department and Forney Police Department responded to the crash.
