KAUFMAN, Texas — Two men are being heralded as heroes for pulling a woman from her burning car after a collision with an 18-wheeler on August 6, 2014.

KAUFMAN, Texas — Two men are being heralded as heroes for pulling a woman from her burning car after a collision with an 18-wheeler on August 6, 2014.

Ladina Hill, a mother of nine, according to family members, was on her way to work when an 18-wheeler crossed her path, having just jackknifed on State Highway 243, according to officials. Hill’s vehicle collided with the 18-wheeler and ignited its fuel tanks, erupting both Hill’s vehicle and the 18-wheeler on fire.

Several family members extended their appreciate to the two men, identified by Fox 4 News as Doug Finch of Crandall, Texas, and Jeff House of Terrell, Texas, in the comments section on an original article posted by inForney.com the morning of the crash, seen here.
