FORNEY, Texas — A two-vehicle accident on westbound U.S. Highway 80 caused delays for Thursday morning commuters.
The accident occurred at approximately 7:45 a.m. on westbound U.S. Highway 80 near Liberty Hill and cleared at 8:16 a.m. The right lane of the highway has closed while emergency personnel were on scene.
An East Texas Medical Center ambulance, the Forney Fire Department, and the Forney Police Department responded to the accident.
No injuries were reported and both vehicles were able to drive from the scene.
