FORNEY, Texas — Two separate wrecks on westbound U.S. Highway 80 are causing major delays Tuesday morning.

FORNEY, Texas — Two separate wrecks on westbound U.S. Highway 80 are causing major delays Tuesday morning.

The wrecks were reported just before 7 a.m. on westbound U.S. Highway 80 on the East Fork Trinity River bridge near the Dallas-Kaufman County line.

The Forney Police Department, Forney Fire Department, the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office, and Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of two reported crashes involving four vehicles. No injuries were reported.

Traffic was backed up to Farm-to-Market (FM) 548 which caused delays of approximately 45 minutes for morning commuters.

Once traffic began to ease, another crash was reported near Sunnyvale, further hindering the delayed traffic.

A minor crash was reported at 7:15 a.m. on the north service road at Pinson Road. This crash has since been cleared and no injuries were reported.
