FORNEY, Texas — The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) recently awarded two contracts for roadway rehabilitation on Farm-to-Market (FM) 688 in Forney and State Highway (SH) 34 in Terrell.
FORNEY, Texas — The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) recently awarded two contracts for roadway rehabilitation on Farm-to-Market (FM) 688 in Forney and State Highway (SH) 34 in Terrell.
FM 688, also known as Broad Street, will undergo base repair, milling, and overlay on 2.3 miles of roadway between U.S. Highway 80 and FM 548. The contract was awarded to Austin Bridge and Road Services, LP for a contract amount of $832,284.88.
APAC-Texas was awarded the $1.4 million, 12.5-mile rehabilitation project for SH 34 from U.S. Highway 80 in Terrell, Texas, to the Hunt County line.
“Construction dates will be established in upcoming meetings between TxDOT and the contractor,” stated TxDOT representative Michelle Releford.
