KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Transportation approved a contract for road, pavement improvements and bridge replacement on Farm-to-Market (FM) 1388 and FM 2860.
KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Transportation approved a contract for road, pavement improvements and bridge replacement on Farm-to-Market (FM) 1388 and FM 2860.
On FM 1388, the project includes adding a thee-foot safety shoulder on FM 1388 from U.S. Highway 175 to FM 148 and replacing the bridge and relief at Kings Creek.
On FM 2860, three-foot safety shoulders will be added from FM 1388 to U.S. Highway 175.
The contract, tabbed at $22 million, was awarded to Austin Bridge and Road Services, LP.
“Construction dates will be established in upcoming meetings between TxDOT and the contractor,” stated Texas Department of Transportation spokesperson Michelle Releford.
