TxDOT to hold public meeting for SH 190 extension from I-30 to I-20

KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas (Texas Department of Transportation) — The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will hold a public meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the Sunnyvale Middle School, 216 North Collins Road in Sunnyvale. It will be an informal Open House format with no formal presentation to allow participants to ask questions and review exhibits.

The proposed 11.8-mile project, from SH 190 (The East Branch) from I-30 to I-20, is a new location six-lane roadway within an approximately 280-foot right of way. Engineers have examined viable alternative alignments and potential transportation modes, including the no-build alternative and the potential for tolling.

Maps, drawings and other information about the project will be on display to allow interested participants to learn more about the proposed project, environmental study process and environmental analysis.
