Weather permitting, Union Pacific Railroad expects to close the crossing at 5:30 a.m.
“The crossing will be closed to allow Union Pacific to replace the planks and support beams on and under the track at the crossing,” stated the City of Forney notice.
“As of now there is not an estimated time of completion, however residents are asked to find alternate routes and to be prepared that the crossing will be closed all morning,” the notice continued.
