FORNEY, Texas — (UPDATE: The closure has been canceled until further notice.) Weather permitting, both eastbound and westbound U.S. Highway 80 will be closed on February 12 and 13, 2015, from 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. between County Road 212 and Windmill Farms Boulevard.
FORNEY, Texas — (UPDATE: The closure has been canceled until further notice.) Weather permitting, both eastbound and westbound U.S. Highway 80 will be closed on February 12 and 13, 2015, from 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. between County Road 212 and Windmill Farms Boulevard.
The highway will be closed to allow Texas Department of Transportation crews to replace bridge signs over the highway.
During the closures, traffic will be diverted onto the frontage roads which are currently under construction as well for resurfacing.
Major delays are expected throughout the area and the Texas Department of Transportation is encouraging drivers to seek alternate routes.
