KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — A man was airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital after his vehicle was T-boned on Farm-to-Market (FM) 1641 on Wednesday morning.
Officials say a vehicle was traveling on westbound Interstate 20 when it exited the highway. As the vehicle entered the intersection of the service road with FM 1641, it was struck by an oncoming service van on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
The man became entrapped in the vehicle due to the collision. Responding firefighters from the Forney Fire Department extricated the driver who was later flown by CareFlite helicopter to a Dallas-area hospital with what were described as non-life threatening injuries.
One person in the service van was transported to Presbyterian Hospital in Kaufman, Texas, by a CareFlite ambulance.
