CRANDALL, Texas — A Heartland man was flown to a Dallas-area hospital after falling through his ceiling on Tuesday afternoon.

CRANDALL, Texas — A Heartland man was flown to a Dallas-area hospital after falling through his ceiling on Tuesday afternoon.

The Crandall Fire Department responded to the man’s home in the 2000 block of Long Forest Road in Heartland. The man was in his attic with a utility service technician when he fell through the ceiling — approximately 10 feet.

The man was unconscious when firefighters arrived at the home. He was loaded into an ambulance and transported to the Heartland community park area where a CareFlite medical helicopter landed to transport him to Methodist Dallas Medical Center in unknown condition.
