TERRELL, Texas — State Highway (SH) 205 was closed Thursday night in Terrell between Colquitt Road and Walmart as two heavy-duty wreckers worked to upright an overturned 18-wheeler trailer.
The wreck occurred after noon on Thursday, April 2, 2015, in the shoulder of the northbound lane. No other vehicles were involved in the wreck and its unknown what caused the 18-wheeler tractor and its trailer, bearing a Walmart logo, to become separated — the tractor remained upright.
The road was closed in both directions after 9 p.m. when two heavy-duty wreckers arrived to upright the overturned trailer. At approximately 10:45 p.m., crews were able to upright the trailer using the heavy-duty wreckers and inflatable recovery mats.
The road remained closed as of 11:10 p.m.
