FORNEY, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fiery crash under an Interstate 20 overpass after a vehicle launched down the bridge embankment and crashed on the roadway below — bursting into flames.
FORNEY, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fiery crash under an Interstate 20 overpass after a vehicle launched down the bridge embankment and crashed on the roadway below — bursting into flames.
The crash was reported at approximately 10:30 p.m. The vehicle was traveling on westbound Interstate 20 when it lost control, veered into the center median, and crashed down the bridge embankment between the eastbound and westbound lanes. The vehicle crashed into a guardrail post on Farm-to-Market (FM) 1641 and burst into flames.
The driver of the vehicle was able to escape without injuries. The vehicle was completely destroyed in the fire.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
